Statistics: Russia’s inflation again at 0.1% in Mar 12–Monday
MOSCOW, Mar 20 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation stood at 0.1% for the eighth week in a row from March 12 through Monday and reached 1.7% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
In the reported week, prices for lamb grew 3.5%, millet 1.9%, wheat flour 0.6%, buckwheat 0.5%, tea 0.4%, frozen fish, sterilized milk, bread, pasta and cookies 0.3%, sausages, butter, cheeses, fatty cheese, sour cream, noodles, rice and vodka 0.2%.
Egg prices fell 0.7%, chicken 0.3%, sugar and sunflower seed oil 0.2%.
Fruits and vegetables rose 0.6% on average.
Gasoline and diesel fuel prices decreased 0.1%.
